The Comox Valley is an easily accessible paradise with all of the amenities you’d expect to find at a music business conference. Located on the north east coast of Vancouver Island, the Comox Valley is primarily made up of 3 communities: the City of Courtenay, the Town of Comox, and the Village of Cumberland and is serviced by an international airport YQQ as well as BC Ferries. Getting to VIMBC

If you’re traveling to VIMBC from Vancouver, a BC Ferry from the Horseshoe Bay or Tsawwassen terminals will bring you to either Departure Bay or Duke Point terminals in Nanaimo. The Comox Valley is then about an hour’s drive north on Highway 19.

If you’re driving from the US, take the ferry from Port Angeles, WA to Victoria, BC. Or, if you’re flying to Seattle, you can make your way to the harbour area and take a Coho ferry to Victoria where you can arrange your car rental. In either case, follow Route 1 North, which will become Highway 19 and the Comox Valley is approx. 3 hours north.

Once you’re here, you can pick up your delegate pass during registration on June 22nd at the Sid Williams Theatre in Courtenay.
